Add the only Dome appearance with Dunn in 90-91 season.
The teams I played on lost in the Semis in back to back years against Evangel with Berlin and West Monroe with Brady James. Both were seniors at the time. Those teams would be in the running as well.

Those were all great years, but if you look at the 07 and 08 graduating class, you have ~17 players that went division I for football (not including some that had smaller offers but decided not to pursue football in college).
Lewis
Ponder
Patch
J. Peters
Broha
Gabe G.
Todd Lee
Thomas Broussard
Darren Lucy (interest, but didn't pursue)
Logan Robique
Henry Minor
Spencer Harrell (will play baseball rather than football in college)
Those come to mind off the top of my head. I am sure I missed some.
Past Peters there may not have been the elite talent like a Minor and Applewhite, but it was as deep of a team as CHS may ever have.

Yea that team MIGHT have had more depth but it's scary what the old CHS teams had in terms of talent and playmakers. Minor, Dunn, Applewhite, and Franklin were all high school studs. They also used to have unreal defensive and offensive lines back in the day. Of the guys you mentioned, Broha and Peters were the only real studs.

Lynx, the 96 team was far deeper and more talented than the 07 team.
In '96, Catholic had Travis Minor (Florida State), Aaron Boone (Clemson), Kendrick Shanklin (Kentucky) and Jermaine Hatch (Georgia Tech) in one backfield.
Greg Brown and Applewhite went to Texas. Bostic went to Tennessee. Zack Pendarvis went to LSU. Anthony Fisher went to Miami. A couple of guys went to Memphis, a couple to military schools and several more to the state schools.

year in and year out Catholic High (BR) has at least as much talent as any HS in La...
hammers home my point that Catholics coach Dale Wiener has done less with more, more than any other coach in La football history.....epic fail!

West Monroe held that offense to 186 total yards. Travis Minor had 184 of them. He was a stud.

My reaction was the same! But I think it calmed WM down. They were so jacked up! Alot had happened to them leading up to that game. Shows had suffered a heart attack and had bypass surgery. He was in the booth for the Catholic game. The players really wanted to win for him. Travis Minor returning that kick couldn't have helped Shows' heart. It didn't do much for mine!!!!

I was a Junior at CHS at the time, and we took a bus ride up to West Monroe to see that game.
Minor was an absolute stud in that game (and his entire career), but Tommy Banks was a man amongst boys.
Before the game, I hadn't heard of Banks. After the game, I asked some WM people about him, whether he had any college offers. The laughed and said "yeah, he's going to LSU". Remember, this was '96, really before the internet was huge and before Rivals.com existed....
That instantly brightened my day, knowing that dude was a future Tiger.

lynxcat what do u think about ol tyler duvall?
i know for a fact northwestern state is lookin at him, what others are lookin at duvall?
plus do u think he's underrated despite being one of CHS's strongest players?
also C tomeny could b a D1 prospect for the bears(1st team 5-5A all district as a soph)
