I know that. We are not competing with them for lber's. However, the DEs we want we have to compete with bama for. We also have to compete with tackles that they use for DEs

I just hate the fact that we are competing with them on so many Louisiana kids.

I can't think of any other out of state school that is anywhere close to being the kind of threat Bama is to our best players

I agree...I hate bama and I always want them to lose...even if it is in golf...I just really hate them...i will be rooting for Michigan next week

I hope we start putting pressure on some Bama kids like when we got Kwon. It'd be nice to start making Saban work a little harder for his money.

We probably are. But we don't have our recruiting reporters putting out news about every recruit that scratches his nuts in the direction of Baton Rouge being an LSU lean, like they do.
A few things to remember about any report coming from a Bama reporter: they are extremely biased, they will twist words, and they actively recruit for Bama.

A&M will offer more LA players than Texas. They have since Slocum (LA roots) was there and they have too because Texas usually gets most of their top in-state kids.
Since Mack hired SEC assistants (Davis, Serals & Diaz),Texas wants to be a larger threat to our best kids like Bama already is. They've been on some of the best 2014 kids in the state since as far back as May
Out of the 18 kids Texas offered early, four were OOS. LA kids are 3/4ths of the OOS offers.

I don't expect them to be very successful recruiting LA kids but they are going to try. Getting Shiro Davis last year is a direct result of the changes Texas has made in their recruiting practices. The heat has been turned up even more for 2014-It's not just them wanting a few of our guys, we want some of theirs too!

I think we are pushing hard for Players in Alabama. I talked to Bo Scorboroughs cousin last week and he said LSU is very much in it. He wasn't to happy about it because he is a huge Bama fan and is trying to push his cousin to Bama. He said that Bo likes how we develop running backs and is aware we will be losing guys to the draft/graduation soon.
Take it for what it's worth. I was shocked to hear that we were in it with Bo being he is from Ttown.

This is my first time hearing that we are in it for him,....I thought we had all of our eggs in one basket for LF. It will be interesting
