Get off the ledge Tiger fans!!!!

I think everybody needs to calm down and take a deep breath. This is a very solid class! We addressed all of our needs. This class lacks the wow factor and big names "ON PAPER" and I strongly emphasize "ON PAPER". We missed on Gunner and Collins and it got everybody down in the dumps going along with the BCSNC game. But man you have to trust this coaching staffs evaluation of talent. Prime example Morris Claiborne who's projected to be a top 10 pick and Matieu who was a heisman finalist. This staff doesn't look at recruiting rankings. They have camps, watch film, go to games, 7 on 7, etc. More times than not the satff is on with the players they sign. LSU will be just fine!

Agree 100%. I am beginning to think spending any time on this mess anymore is a waste of my time. I can't believe I have lost time off my life that I will never get back reading this board.

The way some people are acting is outrageous. All this over one person? One person is not going to make or break us.
I've followed this site forever, and when I do finally sign up, I find myself not visiting so much anymore recently. I'd rather not read all this negativity about a team I love so much!

I'm not saying that. LSU obviouly missed out on some guys they wanted. But they still got a very solid group of players. LB the weakest spot on the team was heavily addressed.

It's funny how too many Tiger fans (and others for that matter) take recruits ranking too seriously in determing whether the player will be any good or not and whether the class is any good. It's ultimately going to be decided on the field at the college level, not high school. Those rankings are only a gauge as to what a player can do. Their commitment and desire to work hard, learn, and get better is what it comes down to.

We have a great class and I'm optimistic. But like any venture, we could have done better in certain areas. The beauty of recruiting is that if you have a down year, you can come back the next without missing a beat on the field.
