Benco, sorry but since you didn't quote the tweet, I thought those were your words.
This board is heavily policed. My sticky at top says it all.
If there are Bama fans in disguise , I for once would like someone to point them out. If there is a bad post on this board, please link it.

No problem Chicken, I just wanted people to know that comments get back to recruits and their families and sometimes could have consequences.

It isn't just an LSU issue, every school has this issue and until grown adults and kids of other schools quit following recruits on twitter it will happen.

At some point these kids have to realize that it's a freaking message board. Crap posted on this board by a handful of people is not reflective nor indicative of an entire fanbase. Particularly as has been pointed out already in this thread, that this site is free and wildly popular. You get retard fans, fans of other teams with agendas, 10 year olds, whatever posting on here.
Certainly the board should be more closely moderated given the negative effect it seems to be having but at some point these recruits have to recognize that the internet is the internet and it really doesn't mean a damn thing what a few flakes post on a message board.

ETA: After later reading the second tweet, he's focused on all the people who lie about this an that to a recruit because they couldn't get him, or he flipped to another school. Some say this guy couldn't get in because he didn't have the grades, or he was a thug, etc...

Listening to interviews with Brumfield he seems like one of our brightest recruits. Can't wait to see him in P&G.

I agree. Policing this board only gets you so far. This board needs to become a members only type board. We cant go to any other SEC schools recruiting board. They shouldnt be allowed to come on here. Nor should random "fans" that come on here and bash our coaching staff and recruit. You should apply to be allowed to post on here, and reviewed by the regular posters on this board. And if you bash a recruit or player or coach on here, you get banned from this board. Thats not how it is now, and look at what its done.
And the sad part is that its the people that have no idea what they are talking about that come on here and bash recruits. Hell I remember when Jamal Peters visited LSU during the season. He was tigerbaited and bashed on because people thought he was Cam Sims because they had "similar hair". Not even close. People that arent familiar with recruits or situations need to keep their mouths closed.
OMG Godchaux and Williams are taking their allotted visits... "they gone" , "dont want". Shut up with that bullshite.

Ive said similar things about this in the past, but I feel it is very naive to think that recruits only care about what is posted on the recruiting board. The rant has near free reign on the coaching staff at times. It hurts recruiting in particular in state guys who know about and are exposed to the site. It is bar none the best place for LSU info, but there are times where things could stay a little cleaner.

I have been reading on this site for years and it as gotten worse and worse with negative things being said.I don't even go to the rant because of all the things said about CLM and staff,we are having some of the best years in the history of LSU and they still hate on my boy.But I do appreciate a lot of the good posters on here this is the place for me as far as recruiting goes.But I do have one problem one of you guys has that crazy looking dude with the crazy tattoos and them vampire teeth,is there anyway we can change that picture every time I see it it makes me throw up I lil bit.im just saying not trying to be a prick.
