I think this is more of a case of him not being confident enough to change his pick. All signs point to it being an LSU/UF battle.

Possibly so. He(Overton) was at A&M this past weekend though and A&M seems to think they will get him

About a month ago that area said he's not going to LSU but who knows where he's at now. Didn't seem like people from Ponchatoula were very confident in him staying especially during their dome state title appearance.
