The haters are going to be furious when Underwood commits to LSU. Whatever NIL issues you think LSU has, Michigan is way worse.

And he’s a day 1 starter

You can’t win with just top line rbs and o line, you have to have top notch defenders as well.. well I’m glad I made the stupidest post of the day, but if y’all can’t see the way this is trending… I mean safety coach doesn’t pull i top safety’s across the nation and neither does our cornerbacks and let’s not start on defensive tackles…

That would be a poor DT for McKinley.

Apparently didn't matter to the kid who chose Texas to play for him. I'm just repeating what the kid said.

Dont we have a top 100 CB, a top 150 CB, and a top 100 - #6 safety in the country committed right now according to On3

They’ve recently lost 5 star players to other schools. Georgia has like almost no Georgia players committed and isn’t sustainable imo. Texas A&M is proof that resources alone aren’t going to win squat. And it’ll only take a few 5 star busts and transfers before they pump the breaks a little bit. LSU is taking an economical approach allocating resources on transfers with all conference starters. As long as they still recruit in the top ten while cherry picking the portal I don’t see us going anywhere.

But do you think losing Melvin Hills is a big deal for LSU?

Bookmark this thread when Texas in two years dominates us regularly.. oh that’s sacrilege I know because there’s no way Louisiana being mighty Louisiana can ever lose to Texas teams like a&m and the longhorns hate to break it to you if you if our defensive recruiting doesn’t change, y’all gonna be some pouty. Itches ima die hard LSU fan but all you have to do is follow recruiting I’ve followed it for thirty years now, five stars pan out more times than not but oh we got the savior Brian Kelly them at can turn 3 stars into five stars that’s why he has won so many rings I forgot..

We still don't know what will become of the Texas A&M "super class." They had a bunch transfer out, but they still have some who could be difference makers, especially on the defensive line. The same type of players we need in this class.

Yes but didn’t we used to have the top one or two corners committed and safety’s?? There is a difference believe it or not not shitting on our current commits because I love cais game but he is t PP reincarnation

We also had Adam Henry here recruiting the top wide receivers in the nation

The of course the goat joe Brady
Do you see those instant nfl impact players on the last two rosters besides o line and tight ends im talking about specifically
Kelly recruits
Let this sink in for you Leslie Miles was a way better recruiter than Brian Kelley because he understood he had to have top notch assistant coaches that could recruit there arse off but he had his short comings in qb recruiting and o line and tight end. Actually miles and Kelly both like the same kinda qb basically a run first qb

If you've followed recruiting so diligently for so long, you probably realize that the present LSU class is ranked much higher than the present Texas class. Let it play out before you forecast doom & gloom for the next decade.

There is two sides to every coin, the point is this. Texas has the potential to and very well could become a high level program. Again, not saying they will, but they have a very solid staff of recruiters and more money than anyone. In this era of recruiting that’s a big deal. The days of solely selling a kid strictly on a plan and the ability to put him in the NFL are gone. There has to be a dollar sign attached to it as well. Whether you want to admit it or not, Texas getting the top 2 kids back to back years in the state would be a terrible optic. That very well could be what we are currently looking at right now. Winning will help a lot of this issue, I just worry with a very mediocre big 12 and a very talented roster Texas may just win a lot this year too. I’m not a chicken little for thinking this, and this has nothing to do with Simmons and everything to do with the fact that our former QB is the head of recruiting and tweets stuff to LA recruits on Twitter and probably has built a relationship with them. Brandon Harris, Bo Davis, and Joseph are gonna make the “fence” around LA alot more difficult. If you don’t believe it you haven’t been paying attention.

2023
Toviano #7 CB
2024
McBride is the #3 safety
Bates is the #9 CB

Adding 4 4/5 star portal CBs all with 2 plus years of eligibility likely changed need to load up on DBs vs other areas.

We're not talking about a couple of thousand dollars difference. The elite players are going for several hundred thousand dollars.

Clearly, UT is taking the same approach as A&M did last year. Like the Aggies, let's see how many players stay after having a mediocre season.

I will bill trust me but the signs are there they we are getting raided by Texas for the last two years now.. can’t go get too recruits intexas anymore Texas a n m has shut us out in Houston pretty well along with bama and Ohio state.. I have faith I hope Brian Kelley turns a 180 and starts pulling up the brinks truck and stops caring about that he has to have these quality young men instead of beasts that wreck havoc on the football field.

Even without Underwood, Hurley is probably a Top 5 QB in 2025 if he doesn't reclassify. By 2025, he'll be on campus as a RS-Freshman and have a head start on any Class of 2025 recruit.

Bro, respectfully, you’re an idiot.

One; spell the man’s damn name correctly. It’s Kelly.

Two; taking a bunch of low character guys who are looking for a payday is an express train to the collapse of a program. Ask A&M how that worked out.

Three; you do realize there are elite players who are also good people, right? Lance Heard, Toviano, Campbell, etc.
