The USC meltdown might put UF's class into the all time great catagory

The turn of the century Hurricanes classes were would probably lead that category!! Talk about surfeit of embarrassing riches.

Oh, now I see. You just want his arse out of the SEC if he isn't at LSU. Can't say I blame you.

He did commit and I was hoping it would stay that way. Oregon has a couple of other d lineman on the hook who will help. It is their only weakness as of right now. I love LSU but we get ours.......was hoping Oregon would get to keep this one. Not over yet though, he hasn't officially signed yet. He will though.....

Jeffcoat to Florida?? dunno bout that one... Arizona St. could be the beneficiary of the USC debacle on that one...

Hicks to Florida would surprise no one really, just like Dunlap leaving early should surprise no one...

either way, hard to deny the great recruiting class Florida is getting ready to sign and how powerful they will continue to be with or without Meyer...

No, I was laughing because you said "at Oregon" and not out of the SEC, which I had stated in the earlier post. BTW, I think he sticks w/UF, but the fat lady hasn't sang yet.

Right now, things aren't looking good for Florida for Jeffcoat and Hicks. Reports are that Jeffcoat is no longer going to visit UF and Hicks was upset that Meyer cancelled his in-home visit.

Won't start a thread about it, but InsideTexas is claiming that Jackson Jeffcoat canceled his visit to Florida this weekend.

Anyone know if that's true?

I think it would be wise to let Hicks go.

We still have some talent out there we are after. And Meyer will be on the sidelines coaching in 2010...so the predictions of gloom and doom for Florida were greatly exaggerated.

Our DL is already sick and we really would have been overloaded with Jeffcoact. We have Ron Powell and Shariff to round out the defense.

Yeah right. The status of recruiting at Florida right now just shows how ignorant many high school kids are. Oh and some Florida posters too.

UM in a consulting role? Yeah that would change my mind. What a joke.

The only reason UM is still with Florida at all is because of recruits possibly leaving. So he says he will stay on but not as head coach. And people are so dumb they fall for this.

Jeffcoat says Florida no longer has a spot for him!

quote:

"They told me they had no scholarships left," Jeffcoat said Monday night via e-mail. "That's why I canceled my visit."
