I was guessing John David LaFleur was a tight end by his name and I was 100% correct.

If we can lock down Trey'Dez Green in 2024 and David LaFleur's kid in 2025, we will be in outstanding shape at TE for years to come.

Why do kids have to go play at the big 5a school though?

Someone else already built that. Maybe he wants to build his own legacy at a smaller school? Dunno

The family relocated from the East to provide their kids with a better opportunity at life. His parents visited multiple schools including Curtis and St. Aug (his dad is an alumnus). They laughed at him because he had no football film, and said "no thanks". St. Martin's was the only school that listened to the family, helped with financial aid, and spoke of a plan centered around academics. So now that Harlem is blowing up on the National level, he should transfer to a 5A school ? Coaches all over the country know who he is. He doesn't have to prove himself. His name is out there. He's been advised by several college coaches to stay where he is and focus on his schoolwork and his sophomore football season. Harlem told me directly, his goal this year is to rush for 3,000 yds. If St. M's plays a 10-game schedule, he's got a good shot.

Oh okay. I was thinking that he may not have deep ties to Louisiana and would be harder too keep in state. Glad you cleaned that up. Kid is unreal

We’re still talking about high school, correct ?

I don’t really get this , I graduated in 2005 and at that time, everyone I knew from around my area went to the high school that they went to because, that’s what school district they were in.
Back then, unless you were paying to go to a private school, you didn’t have an option besides to go to whatever school is in the district of whatever address was on file
