I don't think he is getting the 2.5 number but he is certainly getting seven figures. Will be curious to see when it is actually announced

Bechtold off the board to the Twins. I doubt he makes it to LSU as a redshirt junior. He can't really raise his stock all that much if he comes to LSU.

That's because the Cardinals cheated and have no money for this draft. Of course he has signability issues. I'm not busting your chops, I just find it funny that the team you referenced just so happened to be the one team that has no flexibility in this draft. I'm sure Enlow legitimately would love to play for the Tigers, I just think the money he was looking for just became a reality and he's got to take it.

He gave indications to his advisor that he was leaning LSU as recently as a month ago. He had genuine interest in getting to campus.

There were also reports from Cardinals area scouts that signability for Enlow would be an issue.

this is correct sir

I referenced them because they're the ones who said it. They didn't say it would be an issue for them. They said it would be an issue for every team. And it clearly was. That's why the team that took him was the one with the biggest pool and got a discount at 1/1.

And there is nothing wrong with that. He had a high number. It's been met. It happens.

At this point, do you think Cabrera will make it to campus?

I know absolutely nothing about the Enlow situation other than what I've read on here and other sites, but everything you stated seems on point. The dude can play, and now he gets a chance to do it for a living with a fat arse wallet. The reality of the matter is that even if he never plays in the majors, Enlow is already incredibly successful and set up for the rest of his life. He seems to have influential people in his life that are offering good advise, and I think we all wish him nothing but the best and continued success. 2 mill, 1.5 after taxes is a ton of money.

No that's not true at all. He could have been offered a mil and he would be gone. He doesnt even have all the requirements to come to LSU right now. He was gone since day 1 regardless of money.

What country allows you to pay only 25% on $2mil? Not the USofA

I'm gonna guess that the teacher knows that he shouldn't be accepted to LSU but the other non-teacher source knows that he would/has been accepted to LSU. I would imagine a lot of high school teachers for a lot of college athletes think there is no way that person could be accepted to whatever school but they are anyway. It's not exactly the same playing field for athletes versus other students...
