I could see Perkins and Mathews going to Florida, depending on how tight Mathews is with Raymond. Jimbo is still in it, too.

Citizen was committed to LSU, but again, if he's tight with the Auburn staff, he might want to go there. Cadillac has been RB coach for three years at AU.

Lewis would be surprising considering Denbrock is at LSU now, but Bama seems to have a way of pulling players like Lewis somehow. Still think Lewis should be leaning LSU.

Bottom line, I'm not going to freak out on Kelly and the LSU staff if they miss on these guys. At the end of the day, they are still playing catchup for the most part, whereas Jimbo has been there for a while building relationships, Cadillac has been at Auburn for a few years, Raymond has been recruiting these guys for a few years, etc.

I can rationalize why they wouldn't choose LSU, at least enough to where it won't shock me if they go elsewhere. Kelly is still doing a great job as head coach, and I think 2023 is going to be a far more consistent build, given an entire year to develop those strong coach/player relationships.

Hold up, I read this and didn’t pay attention to the day the op said. I thought he said that Perkins came here and then he’s now saying he’s going to Florida.

But that didn’t even happen? That makes this the most pessimistic bullshite thread I’ve ever seen on this board. Holy shite, why not wait till Wednesday?
