I get it, but that is much easier to pull off in the ACC.

Good stat. Speaks to Dabo and staff's evaluation and development. Especially at QB.

Couple of superstars on both sides of the ball surrounded by solid well coached players. Its a winning formula.

when you get a player like Deshaun Watson at the QB position, it elevates every other position on the team

even with this evidence the rant and recruiting board will continue to melt. Win the lines in college football and you can win the game. Only need a couple stars. Les raked in the fast guys all day. Wide receivers and D backs. What does LSU have to show for it?

They’ve beaten OSU, OU, Alabama, and a number of other SEC schools fairly recent I believe.. the ACC hasn’t been that bad at all either

Heck they ought to run Saban off for underperforming. With all his Number 1 recruiting classes in a row he ought to win the NC every year !

Compare the ACC's classes with the SEC's classes.

It's a good point but I think Clemson may be an exception to the rule due to their QB recruiting.

Dabo has done an awesome job building around the QBs in his system. An A+ QB who has the ball in his hands every play means more to a team than a player at another position.

They are also well coached and have developed talent well.

Look at a team like Tennessee who has had similar ranked classes the past few years. Also Stanford, Notre Dame, Michigan, etc. They have had as much talent as Clemson, just not at QB. The ACC has gotten much better but it still isn't the SEC where you need consistent top 5 to 10 classes to be in contention for an SEC title.

They will start getting much better classes now.

(LOL, it will be the same classes, just higher ranked)

Some of those classes were small. They had a average player rating of 92 and didn’t end up with a top 10 class. They also got some elite guys in each and everyone, just had some program players filled in.

top 15 classes with really good qb's can compete for championships.

I am really hoping for great qb play next year.

how many national titles has wisconsin won?

I am not discrediting them for punching above their weight, their coaching staff clearly #CoachesEmUp , but I am pretty sure the bar at LSU is set slightly higher than going to the Rose Bowl...
