“Mutual interest between LSU and former Utah CB Blake Cotton who is in Baton Rouge. Cotton signed with Denver and would be ineligible per new SEC policy.
DT Zxavian Harris is also in BR, sources confirm.
LSU began fall semester Monday.
The 33 plaintiffs that received a TRO last week have a preliminary injunction hearing scheduled for Monday, Aug. 31.
As @RossDellenger reported, attorneys are considering legal action against the conferences.”

Let me reword this; Cotton is in Baton Rouge currently with his trial on Monday. Yes, it makes sense that he was one of the players we targeted through the process.

I find it funny the arbitrary line they are trying to draw on these 2022 5th year players
Cotton was in camp for a cup of coffee…ILLEGAL
The Texas Olinemen spent all of spring with the browns….nah that’s chill and okay.
Costellanos was bad enough he didn’t even get a camp invite…alright you’re good.
Like you either got to let them all go through or none of them. And I’m fine with either, but if LSU/these players are willing to fight this I don’t think these SEC rules are going to have much stick to them

Not really - Lane is not spending the time pushing for the cause. Players and attorney's. Don't get lost up in the chaos. Ride it out - Lane is preparing a great team for Clemson while attorney's go after the SEC and NCAA.

People are being obtuse talking about let them get the players and suffer the consequences. It’s not legal for a 6 year old to drive a car because you can punish the parents. If the judge grants the TRO/injunction with language against the SEC and NCAA then their good to go
