We definitely need a CB. He's got a ton of starts under his belt between Richmond and ULL

Did he play in the CFL or just training camp like the NFL guys? If he played in regular season CFL games I don’t see how that works.

His Stat line

Looks like he was just with the Saskatchewan Roughriders for 2 weeks in May before he was released. And it says he made a tackle in the 1st game, but nothing in the 2nd game.

Also at one point he was the 20th best ranked prospect in the CFL draft evaluations, but wasn't picked.

If you play in a professional game I don’t think you should play college.

Not an popular opinion. Yes we are playing within the rules currently. Just feels icky.

I wonder if his pro experience from a different country can be held against him. Think about the basketball players coming from Europe.

I mean I see professional as professional, doesn’t matter the country. Heck even the NCAA right now could be considered professional given the players are compensated heavily.

I know we are playing within the rules so far. The NCAA is so incompetent it’s laughable.
I cannot wait till it’s kids aged 18-23 (with RARE exceptions i.e. military service) who will play again.

If you get a $ to play college football, you are no longer an amateur. Pros get paid.
Teenagers that have proven nothing get hundreds of thousands or millions a year. ALL are professionals and need to be treated as such.
College is fraudulently pretending amateur BS.
Deal with reality I say to the cucks running NCAA, the leagues and the ADs

Yep. I’m thinking more like we could get Derek Stingley or T White.

So he is officially a pro athlete. Should not be allowed back. Same way I feel about Ruis. He should not have been permitted because the G-League is a professional league and he played in it.

What were his stats?

Was he under contract with a G-league team during the regular season? If so, it's the same thing.

These football players went to training camp basically and some played in the pre-season game(s).

Slightly different from not signing on to a practice squad or regular season roster, playing or not.

We need to aim bigger. There are players in the NFL right now that declared after 3 or 4 years that probably making a minimum salary that LSU can beat.

You said he played. What were his stats?

He was a member of the team in the regular season. Recording a stat doesn't eliminate that. He wasn't just a pre-season/training camp kid that didn't make the team.

In the end, there has to be a limit, and being paid as a pro athlete during a league's season should be just that. Tryouts are not the same as making a roster, even if you ultimately don't play.

You said he played. But you can't seem to produce any record of him playing.

You don't get to change the definition of a word because you lied about something.
