Dude's probably made $3 million and he's never thrown a collegiate pass.

Rumor is FOUR Million

You have to add that to the paltry 1.4 million he got at OSU as the 4th stringer.

Typically anyone that flips, flops, is unsure, very eccentric (his hair and actions) etc has a hard time in college. This guy didn't play his last year in high school to get NIL money from Ohio state and now he goes to Texas? Wtf....would you really want that type of person to be your leader?

I am of the mindset that the very talented but lower ranked players are the best bc they have a chip on their shoulder and bust their arse to be great. Maybe this guy is the one that breaks the mold.

Second paragraph is statistically incorrect, but I definitely agree with the logic.

Who is he working for a payday next year? Oklahoma, if they struggle and get desperate?

Lol aren’t first round contracts typically 25-40 million?

Texas paying 4 million dollars for a kid who has quit on both of his last two teams in a little over a calendar year is so perfectly poetic. I am sure he was promised being the starter, too. Should do wonders for their locker room. And they still wonder why they can’t beat Kansas.

He never got that money, he had to start four games to receive it.

It’s absolutely asinine and stupid that someone can be paid money for not doing shite to earn it. It’s the state of our society.

He made himself the #1 QB in the nation during his high school career, how did he not do shite to earn it again? An autograph company decided to invest in his future potential.

So that’s why he’s leaving. Got it.

Because you don’t give high school kids that kind of money when they haven’t done a thing at the next level. If this kid flops like a lot of highly touted recruits do, then these companies just wasted millions of dollars for nothing.

So no he hasn’t earned shite yet.
