It's absolutely incredible how it turned out. Jamal and LF7 go top 6 in the 2017 Draft, the other 3 go undrafted. Jimmy should do one espn 30 for 30 style, "what if I told you...".

He wasn't. It was Leonard, Adams, Gerald Willis, Speedy Noil, and Tony Brown. Cam announced way before the UA game.

Pretty sure Hootie Jones was in there too

From what I remember Hootie committed to Bama weeks before the game, decommited in what most thought was a Saban attempt to sabotage stuff with Jamal, and then recommitted right after the UA game.

I think you're right, it was Hootie and not Adams.

It was definitely Adams. We went 2 for 5 that day and got the only two that ended up mattering.

Hootie Jones was definitely in the original 5. When he went to the dark side, LSU then added Adams and definitely made out better. Of the original 5, LSU only got 1

Nah bruh, all 5 were committing at the Under Armour game.

I can't believe how many fans don't remember this.

It was LF, Adams, Tony Brown, Gerald Willis and speedy noil. They all committed at the UA game. Cam was already committed to bama and so was jones.

They had this thread a while back... people were throwing Dupre in there too, along with Hootie and Cam, and kept arguing when corrected. I was like, damn, just google it

This is correct. LSU thought they were getting all 5 announcing at the UnderArmour game, hence 5for5. People honestly don’t remember this?

LF still could turn things around, but it's pretty cool that Jamal turned out to be the most successful of that bunch.

LSU stuck with him through his injury. If I remember correctly, Bama offered his sister a scholly, and Tony flipped after stringing LSU along for a year.

LSU was the one that offered his sister a track scholarship, think she ended up at LSU too.

Brown had told the LSU staff he was coming, supposedly things changed when Saban face timed his dad while he was in the hospital.
