This also happens to coincide with Walker Howard being on Campus. They're continuing to push hard for him and looks like if given the chance LSU might take 5 WRs.

I think you mean today, right? If he's taking an official visit on Sunday, it has to be today. The visits shut down Juky 1st

*unofficial

But bringing the parents is good.

I'd bet he takes an official this fall

I'd take 5 receivers with only 1 running back every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Sure, but you can’t do that every year. I would not mind doing that half the time, then 2 RBs the other half. Receiver has become such a critical position that we should over-recruit it then pare down.

Agreed with everything you said.

Receiver is too important not to get elite players.

Walker shows up all the time for visits when top players are in.

Just a great leader already

People will probably say that 5 WRs is too many, but I say keep loading up all the WR talent you can possibly get. To me, in this day and age, WR is as important as any position on the field aside from QB. These days, the ceiling of your offense is determined by whether you have elite pass-catchers. We had a solid haul in the 2021 cycle, but i'm 100% in favor of continuing to stack talent at that position. That's certainly what the other elite programs are doing. CFB these days is a WR arms race.

Having a difference making #3 WR is a game changer.

Very few college teams can account for more than 2 talented WR's.

And don’t forget the transfer portal…nowadays a young man will just transfer if he doesn’t feel like he’s getting the PT!! Sort of a natural selection situation so keep bringing fresh talent on board just in case!!
