how likely is it that we pull him in?
Who knows. This is one that is best handled by not getting invested in it.
Either way I bet LSU pulls in a stud RB next year.

LF can't got to Texas or else 'Shiro Davis is gonna start beefing on him. Them North La. kids don't get along with the South La. kids.
tell me you didn't want to go to LSU, or how you didn't like they played in the title game, or just that you liked Texas better.
don't give me this bullshite about there being a civil war between the north and the south on this team. that's stupid and plain retarded.

Hill and Magee won't be elgible for the draft until after '14. I know LF has great expectations but so does Hill. So I'm just asking how does LF compare to Hill?
Assuming Hill lives up to expectations, would LF be expected to "start" in front of him in '14?
Hot hand gets the carries....this isn't the old LSU team it's been accused of being the last several years.
And every team needs at least 2 RB's, in this case, 2 stud RB's.

We have to win it this year! Also beating Bama like a bitch
will help with recruiting LF. That is all.
On a side note .......has anyone used a balsamic vinaigrette marinade on chicken breast?

actually both will be eligible for the 2014 draft. You just have to be 3 years from your HS graduation. McGee played in 2011 anyway

I really hope LSU get Fourneette because we (LSU coaches) want him.
That said RB is the least important position on the team for LSU to be concerned about. It is a given that if we don't get this kid we will get someone almost as good.
If we miss out on linemen or db's or WR's or QB, or Kickers that we really really want then that would be harder to recover from. As has been said in this thread, RB's are a dime a dozen. LSU might have down years at DB's or DL or OL but no need to worry about the RB's.

Such a biased article but three things are certain:
1. He wants to get away from the crime and violence in New Orleans.
2. He wants to provide for his mother.
3. He wants to play freshman year.
My concerns:
1. Is Baton Rouge far enough from New Orleans for him to feel safe for the next 3-4 years?
2. Will he get anxious and look to take care of his mother while enrolled at a University.
3. Saban selling him on a 3 year scholarship to paradise in tuscaloosa.
I really hope he becomes a Tiger. He sounds like a great kid with his head on straight. Hilliard, Hill, Magee, and Fournette could make up a very mean backfield.

I know, I know. Nola is actually pretty split with the love/hate of LSU. With Tulane and transplants. Not everyone in Nola likes LSU.
However, that was more a play on the "____ hates LSU" that goes around here.

I stand corrected. And let's hope we sign LF.

I'd say closer to or less than 80% but tomato tamahto. There are a ton of transplants and a ton of butthurt tulane fans.

Bama is the leader because St. Aug is full of anti-LSU folks right now. From Sylve's stepdad to Torshiro Davis' old coach to Crutchfield.
Of course Texas is in the mix (Davis) and Alabama. They're circumventing the NCAA and just setting up shop right at St. Aug.
Fournette is just a pawn and will do what they tell him to do.

Please note, I'm not saying both will go pro, just that they could. At a bare minimum, I think at least one of those 2 will still be here in 2014, a lot will depend on whether Ware and or Ford both go pro after this year. I think its a real possibility both do and then at least Hilliard in 2013. I think we really need to get a RB in this class. Besides, if LF is not scared off by Bama's depth chart, they he should be bother if LSU signs Taylor in this class and if the conspiracy theorists are right, we have no shot anyway, so why not start preparing for 2014.
