Low level 4 stars? Sampson, Brown, Womack, and Heard alone are all borderline, if not 5 star recruits. Sampson and Brown having received them and stripped of them prior to the season (but balling) and Heard and Womack being rumored to obtaining them. They have risers otherwise that are already in the top 100 or right outside of it like Austin and Howard. LSU will handily finish with a top ten class, if not top five and that prediction being the finish should keep them in the top ten alone.
Folk saying this is disappointing are out of their minds, this is the first true class and a damn good one, especially in the trenches. Not to mention they got Perkins last minute last cycle. Don’t doubt this staff.

I’m on every site. All of them.
Embody, Shea, Sonny, Julie, etc.. only post when thing gets really warm.
I’ve seen nuggets here by fans weeks before we see any action on the other sites.
I’m not saying that Iota is flawless. I just know he isn’t getting info from other sites.

Polian is not a good recruiting coordinator. He’s run off our good recruiting analysts and is rubbing a lot of the staff the wrong way. He’s even trying to convince Kelly that we don’t need recruiting analysts at all. Look at the top recruiting programs and how many analysts they have. Those guys are responsible for a lot of the behind the scenes conversations with recruits. They keep up the small talk and put in a ton of leg work that coaches simply don’t have the time for.
Polian stays out of d line recruiting, which is probably the strongest unit in this class. Cain is an all star coach. Frank is doing what he can in state but Polian is just a chump living off his dad’s last name. I’m telling y’all that Polian is hurting the future of this program with his shite special teams, bad recruiting strategies and being an arrogant prick in general. Everything is always someone else’s fault with him. People are talking.

Seems a little hard to believe this considering his recruiting record. Also, Kelly, no matter how close he is to his coaches, doesn't seem to put up with poor performance from them for long. Hard to believe Kelly is aware of this and is just OK with it. I don't think he is a great ST coach, but he does seem to be a good recruiter based on his history.
Lastly, you said he isn't involved with the d line but he is listed as Mickens primary recruiter. Just seems like your comments don't align with his recruiting history and our current commits.
ETA: which analysts in particular did he run off?

Isn’t he a top notch recruiter and the reason he’s really on staff is for that reason primarily, rather than special teams…? I’ve heard the contrary, he is doing justice for recruiting, but I’m not one with sources or what not. Simply reading what’s in front of me.

You're confusing them with somebody else. I have no idea if they have actual connections, but they only talk about recruiting on that front.

Exactly. People used to bash him then because he went to On3 he is the greatest thing since slice bread. I like On3 but that doesn’t mean I have to like embody. I got the information earlier for free from others than what he charges for.

Polian is just a kiss arse. I guarantee you that's why kelly keeps him around.
