TJ Finley

Some shaky numbers with some of these guys. I just heard Billy Embody say that we are sticking with Johnson and Finley for 20'

Finely numbers should also include the many drops by his receivers

Maybe at this point, there might not be too many other options.

Get those guys into the program, coach them up, and see how they mature. If there is no maturation and football growth, then there will be other QB recruits coming in that will push those guys out the way.

Finley's numbers are bad, regardless of drops. Like really bad. He's a full 14% below 50% overall completion and has two interceptions. Additionally, he is averaging only 4 yards per carry.

After the year that Burrow is putting up and the new expectations surrounding LSU's offense, I don't see how this could possibly satisfy anyone.

IMO Brady will get the best out of Finley & Johnson.

FYI it has only been 2 games for Finley. First game was really bad, second game was pretty good, lower comp % in 2nd game but supposedly had a lot of drops then.

First game was particularly bad though for him, 0 TD and 2 INT. Second game was 4 TD, 0 INT I believe. LSU commit Jalen Lee sacked him twice and had a few more pressures in first game.

Comparing the two committed QBs I see more potential out of Johnson because he not only has the size but he expects excellence from himself. Johnson will put in the work to get better. I don't get that vibe from Finley. Hope I'm wrong but I see Finley getting buried in the QB depth chart in a couple of years and eventually transferring to a JC.

Looks like Cali is where we need to go QB shopping. They're a combined 51 TDs vs 7 INTs with compl percentage in the high 60's. Of course level of play is a factor.

Does Finley not also have the side and expect more from himself? I don't agree with this comment. You're assuming Finley doesn't expect more from himself

Every quarterback has drops. He has receivers with Power 5 offers. Narrative is getting old.

Chandler Morris committed to Arky? I'm sure daddy Morris helped with his coaching.

I agree. I'm looking forward to seeing what the portal has to offer.
