Dekkers seems like he can do better.

Are we going after Young with O’s west coast connections?

Bryce Young flipping to Bama with young Tua already there makes me think we should have been recruiting him. If he comes to LSU, no way Brennan beats him out before young Tua does in Bama.

Or maybe we get young Tua in the transfer portal. I remember Coach O going to one of his games last year and chatting it up with Tua on the sideline or stands.

Young Tua is terrible.

Young Tua is most likely never going to be a good QB in the SEC.

Bryce Young is a monster though.

Week 6

How is King above Bryce Young on the 247 composite? Im guessing some of these rankings will be getting an overhaul at some point.

“After the year that Burrow is putting up and the new expectations surrounding LSU's offense, I don't see how this could possibly satisfy anyone.”

That’s why Brennan is next in line for 2 years and nobody is even close. Brennan has run this style offense since he was in 8th grade. By comparison, Brennan in his senior year after his Elite 11 summer, threw for 4000 yards, 48 tds passes and only 3 int with a 68% completion rate.
BTW that was his lowest high school stats of his 3 years as the starting QB.

I laugh when people say Brennan won’t start. Dude has insane high school stats, he will be a gun slinger next year and dare I say I think he will be just as impressive as Burrow has been this far in the season.

If you expect Brennan in his 1st year starting to play at the level Burrow has thus far in ‘19 you will be disappointed.

Burrow has only thrown like 2-3 bad balls all season.

He’s been unreal.

They are idiots, morons, ignorant posers that want to act like they know something about the game but are clueless. Brennan has been with LSU for nearly 3 years and these clowns think a true freshman is going to come in and beat him out. Yea, it is laughable. Yea, it can happen, but it doesn't happen very often. Trevor Lawrence is the exception, not the rule. The best youngest QB I've ever seen at LSU was Tommy Hodson, and he was a redshirt freshman, not a true freshman.

I do too. Brennan's skillsets matches excellent for this type of quick strike offense

I won't go this far though, and that only because what Burrow is doing is ridiculous in comparison to a typically great QB. Burrow is playing at a Heisman level. Him, Tua, Fields, and Hurts are all playing ridiculously efficient even if they are playing easy to mediocre teams. It's one thing to put on a show, but it seems effortless for these four.

Let's say Burrow averages only 250 pass yards, and only 2 pass TDs per game over the next 8 regular season games. By the end of a 12 game regular season, he will have thrown for 3520 yards with 33 pass TDs. For official records those numbers would be #1 for LSU all time. However with the defenses we face this year, Burrow throws for at least 4000 yards and 40 TDs competing over 70%. Those numbers are INSANE for a SEC West QB. When Burrow leaves this year, Tua and he will finish #1 and #2 in passing yards, passing TDs, and completion percentage, in a single season, in the SEC.
