Especially if the guys he is pulling in live on the west coast. Those are guys we most likely wouldn't have a legit shot at otherwise. Louisiana kids start taking notice of big names coming from California, and they might be more likely to stay with the good guys as well.

Yea I agree. Seems like we always have one or two guys who recruit for us each year but having one from Cali is awesome

DJ is written and spoke of like he is going to be a generational talent, if he doesnt end up being a very high pick in MLB. What an awesome sight it would be to see him suiting up in purple and gold in 2020.

This could grow into a solid west coast connection. With USC and UCLA down, their attraction is diminished. Plus O having spent time there, is another positive factor.
Having a highly visible player shining the light on us is exciting what the possibilities could be moving forward.

If O created some good relationships with some HS coaches, then he could create a pipeline once a few guys commit and become successful.
