We are going to turn the #1 CB in 2020 into a safety?
I appreciate you chiming in but you aren't making sense bro. He has been evaluated by multiple recruiting services and nobody is seeing what you are seeing.

I appreciate you being cordial, and you're likely right.
Just a thought I had based on his film and his build...we'll see how big he is in a year or so.

But...?
His position is irrelevant to the point I made. Kid just went coast to coast talking up our school and committing himself to playing ball here and your first thought, your initial thought is to point out his "weakness"? Dude this isn't even about football...

Well, I was talking about football...nothing personal. I hope your day gets better.
I think he's going to be great for us.

Ricks had 9 picks his jr season. You dont get 9 picks if you cant cover, nor do you get rated as the #1 corner in the 2020 class.
Your opinion based on footage you've seen doesn't change the facts, and his statisics are facts that just can't be argued with.

I'm pretty sure I saw what you did also but what I saw was a bunch of close up angles that didnt show his coverage angles from a distance and he looks out of position a lot but maybe if there was a view from a distance it might show that he's just better at picking and taking the angle than the WR is?
Like they're saying if he's picking off that many passes, it's for a good reason.

Ricks seems solid. Ran a 4.56 in the rain at Opening regional in L.A. Currently 6-2, 188.

Rettig washed out of Rutgers I believe.

Correct. Rettig left Rutgers, transferred to Tennessee Tech and left Tech without ever taking a snap in a game. Think he hung up football.

There is always “that guy”

I think this may be where the safety talk comes from. If he's a 4.5 guy with his size and he's likely to add more weight. A 4.5 corner is fine. Rick's looks good in the video I saw.
LSU has had 4.5 corners before.

I would love him at corner. If he adds a few pounds, it's still fine. He can jam receivers at the line and then use his length to recover if need be. Teams wont be able to throw jump balls between Ricks because of his size and then Stingley because of his insane vertical.

Livingston entered the NCAA transfer portal last week.
Gorgeous. Swing is too.
