If we somehow land Miller Ried and Mitchell and Days in fact returns this team has serious championship potential

I think Miller is a lock. Reid is certainly weighing his options.

That’s what I’m thinking. Don’t forget about Pinson either, he’s a star. And our depth will be real nice too

Whose getting processed to get all of those guys? LeBlanc had some pretty cryptic post on social media tonight about not trusting anyone. Hope it’s not him.

If Leblanc is forced out that sucks for the young man. But you have to EARN one of these scholarships. They aren't generally just handed out. If someone else is better than you, they get the nod. It's how life is SUPPOSED to work.

Who cares who gets processed. Players want the freedom to transfer every year then I have no problem with coaches processing guys to get better guys it goes both ways.

You can't be serious.

Where did you get that players want the freedom to transfer "every year?"

Coaches have ALWAYS processed players for better players.

I think there is a 0% chance of us getting Reid, Mitchell and days back. Someone would have to come off the bench and nobody is going to turn down their other options to do that. If that was a possibility, I don’t think they would have taken Eason either.

If Days returns that'd be great. I could be wrong, but I don't ever recall him having more than 2 solid offensive + defensive games in a row. There's been many games where he was just a non-factor. He might make a really good 6th man & sometimes starter, but we'd be in a world of hurt if he were to be counted on as one our main guys, IMO.

He was one of LSU's "main guys" this past season.

He had EIGHT double-doubles. He had a 5 game stretch in SEC play where he scored in double figures in all 5 and averaged 14 ppg and 7 rpg during that stretch. He was the highest rated offensive player in the ENTIRE SEC by quite a significant margin. He shot 52% last year. And that was with over 1/2 of his shots coming from three. He was quite literally the barometer on if LSU won or lost. If he scored in double figures they won. If he didn't, they lost. (The ONLY time last season that wasn't 100% true was the TTU game where he scored 11 but LSU still lost...probably in LARGE part because Days was injured and missed the last 8:00 minutes)

If anything, LSU didn't use him ENOUGH. He averaged 8 shots less that Thomas per game. 4 shots less than Watford. With his efficiency he would have averaged 17-18 ppg had he just gotten 4 more shots per game. Next year he wouldn't be the 4th option. And lest we think last year was just a flash in the pan, the guys is a 50% shooter for his career at LSU and has been a top 5 rebounder in the league the last two seasons.

Have there been nights when the shots didn't fall and he struggled? Of course, but he's FAR better than just a "good 6th man". Most have just never fully appreciated him because he has never been the "go to" guy for LSU.

Coaches would KILL to have a Senior on their roster who is capable of putting up the numbers Days has. Believe me. If he wants back in he will be on the team.

Days is a glue guy on this roster. If he stays, he starts and he plays well for us. It would be a huge win to keep him another year.

Our wins last year largely went how Days played.

I don’t think LeBlanc would get processed. He’d have to leave on his own if he weren’t on the team next season.
