Former southern Lab & LSU recruit Christopher Allen is now looking to transfer from Bama.
He was a high 4* / 5* out of HS.
DISCLAIMER : 247 sports posted a transfer portal preview which featured Christopher Allen. There’s comments that this is simply a sample image and he’s not transferring so this post may be Fake News

Think it is fake news. At least on a bama site it says it was posted on twitter as a test to show how the transfer portal works. They included real names but it is an example. I got excited when I read this and then I hear it isnt real. Hope I am wrong, would love to get him

But at least some of the names on there were real transfers. If all of them were but Allen, that's pretty suspicious. I don't know if all the other ones were real though.

I agree. Why the hell would they use REAL people who weren't already in the portal? It's very irresponsible to Tweet that image out with real people who haven't announced they are transferring.

I talked to Chris Allen his senior year of high school (around January) and told him he should go to LSU (like any other fan would), but he said he definitely wasn’t because of a camp he went to at LSU.
He said his groin (might’ve been another leg area) was hurt so he decided to sit out, and he heard Cam Cameron call him a wimp or something. He also said something about Alabama always winning being another reason that he wanted to go there, but it seemed like the Cam Cameron thing really pissed him off.
I might be misremembering because it was 2 years ago, but that was about the gist of it. I wouldn’t rule out him transferring here, though, since Miles and Cameron are gone and he may be homesick.
Interesting side note- not long after this conversation, I saw an article on NOLA giving hope about him coming here that made me laugh.
