Haha touche but hopefully we are getting there all we have to do is win and we can be back to the old lsu I already feel a big change.

Well, lets keep it real, he did inherit a gold mine. This program was a top 5 program minus the QB production/development.
There are 20+ coaches not counting the obvious, that could come to LSU right now and do well for 2-3 years. Theres alot of talent on this squad but also alot to prove. Its a tough job and expectations are very high.
He lost some big recruits last year. This years' numbers are inflated because of the sheer number of commitments. The key number is the percentage points per 100. Per 247, LSU's is .8973, which is last in the top 8 and several more in the top 25 are higher.
O bringing in Canada seems like a good move. He has enhanced several things and it seems hes ready for the big time, but only time will tell. He needs to win 10 games this year minimum.

You really cannot tell though because who knows how high a lot of these kids are going to get bumped, a good example is Micah Baskerville from this class. No doubt he gets a bump after competing at the opening. I wouldn't put too much stock in where kids are rated right now and how high there percentage is. Many kids get that 5th star way late in the recruiting season (Klavon Chiasson, Tredavious White, etc.)

This is true, but thats how they are rated today. The point was LSU being ranked #2 is misleading because if the ratings stay the same with these players LSU will not finish #2.

Juluke missed on Cam Akers and every other RB LSU recruited except one. That's damn near impossible to do at LSU. Guice going the wrong way on the last play of the UF game probably didn't help either. Kick him in his arse on the way out the door.
D Craig had a JUCO WR committed since December of 2016. The entire coaching staff was blindsided by the unbelievable news ON SIGNING DAY that Stephen Guidry was not and could not qualify for the 2017 season. Kick this dude in arse on his way out the door also.
How the F does LSU miss on every RB recruit except one? How the F does a coach recruiting a player have no F'ing idea the guy won't qualify?

How did we lose Akers, because Jimbo Fisher out recruited Coach O. How did our Head Coach who was also the recruiting coordinator for 2 years not know Guidry would not qualify? You would have to ask him.
Right now a lot of you are just blowing smoke up Coach O's butt is you think this class is special. It could be but right now it is not. It is being filled by a lot of 3 star recruits who may or MAY NOT turn into 4 stars. This looks like it maybe a top 10 recruiting class ranked from 8-12 which is actually a downgrade from the past couple of years.

Because Jabbar Juluke was his position coach and since Jabbar was reassigned the day after signing day this was probably said. Jabbbar also missed out on all of the other RB's LSU offered. Tommie Robinson happens to be a much better recruiter - number #1 recruiter in the nation for this years signing class. I wish they could have reassigned Juluke much earlier.

Frank Wilson accepted the UTSA job on January 14, 2016. Was that two years ago? Was D. Craig not the RC for this past class?

Myles Brennan was a very little known borderline 3 star guy who turned into a top 5 pro style ranked QB who killed it at the elite 11 and became a highly coveted prospect nationally....all because he had great camps and scouting grades in his senior year....some of the three star guys that people are worried we have too many of will be top 20 to 30 guys at their respective positions by the time the final rankings are tallied....give it time people...the staff knows what they're doing far better than any of us on here posting about their every single desicion...its why they make millions of dollars to coach and recruit and we talk shite on message boards for free....some of you guys are honestly so ridiculously stupid about this stuff its amazing. And you make all of us look so stupid as a whole that its not even funny. I would say just to stop. ..but without some sort of negatiger crap to talk Im guessing your lives would be incomplete. .so by all means continue to be children. It suits you so well yaknow?

The coaches don't recruit based on star ratings! They will offer any recruit that they deem a certain caliber of talent, regardless if they are highly rated or not.

Many of the star gazers and know it alls could never hack it in the real world of coaching and recruiting. If in an alternate world they were handed the reigns to a CFB program and they would run it in the ground.

So you say that this class is nothing "special" yet you offer no basis. At least 3 of the 3star kids are vastly under rated as well as at least one 4 star kid. At the pace we're going, get ready to eat a shitload of crow for that statement brother.
In the meantime, please get back to things that you do best, like coloring books, tagg'n your sister and meth. The adults are trying to have a reasonable conversation!
