What an absolute embarrassment, kid goes to ULab on LSU's campus and still goes to Bama...joke

And he still has family there. Hopefully that scholarship is terminated immediately and that family can move as well.

Remember the Tony Brown saga? Brown was a solid 100% commit here and LSU even got his sister in school when nobody else could. He inked with Bama on National Signing day and LSU never knew it until he faxed in the letter of intent. Bama made a late transaction to Brown's family to secure the signing. Reuben Foster has Auburn tattoos on his body and ended up at Bama under the same late transaction circumstances. Bama pays more, there is no other way to put it.

Bama plays to a different set to rules. Nobody has broken more rules and had more rules re-written because of the their actions than Bama.

Don't speak of his family or dad. My last two post mentioning his father were whacked.

Could be that I posted his username though. IMO he deserves the criticism for how he handled this early on
But best of luck to them I guess. Tiger bait

It's his choice...Just let it go...You want players that are committed to the school LSU with getting a great education but playing for a great football tradition ...Nick Saban has been great but he will not be at Alabama forever and quite honestly I will be surprised he stays for 4 more years...I like Coach O and he is not going to win every recruit..... .Dave Aranda put's players in the NFL...Living in Wisconsin as a LSU Post Graduate Alumni I have seen it for myself..The guy can flat out coach...I honestly seen a kid named Joe Schobert whose parents live in our subdivision..He was a good HS Player but had ZERO STARS and no big offers...He was a Walk-On for Wisconsin...He was DRAFTED in the 4th round this season and is playing for the Cleveland Browns...Guess who is grateful for making him the player he was at Wisconsin both on and off the field and now in the NFL...Dave Aranda.....Dave Aranda made the Badgers LB's this season all of whom could get DRAFTED even though Dave was not their this past season and with us Watt, Biegel, etc....Get guys that want to be here and good luck Dylan...Winning is a success today at Alabama but things always change...Hopefully Dylan considered everything when he made his decision and hopefully he doesn't regret his decision...

If there was ever a book that was written to expose the dirty underbelly of how recruiting at big time universities really works, I'd buy that bitch in a heartbeat. No doubt that all universities are guilty, but I know there are those out there who really go over the top with their ability to break the rules, manipulate the system and find clever ways to hide all of it.

So what is coach Orgeron's strong point again? Recruiting? Not a good start so far. Hopefully he has a strong finish.

Sometimes a kid needs to get away from home. However, when a Louisiana kid signs with Alabama, that is a sign of poor character

Who cares if it's encouraging, or not?...the kid used us to get home for Thanksgiving and then fricked us as soon as he left town. We need LB's desperately, have the best Defensive mind in the Country coaching us and he could have played immediately...He plain and simple played us.... for whatever reason he felt it was OK to do so. Don't care to encourage him.

I don't understand y'all...He was just named head coach 3 weeks ago, and I believe can't recruit effectively as interim...and y'all are dogging him. Y'all are gonna have give him more than 3 weeks.

A built in excuse when holes in the roster begin to exist down the road

Ok. Glad the drama queen is off the pot. Enjoy Tuscaloosa, and stay in Florida, Alabama or somewhere else indefinitely.

Mixed feelings. Can understand the choice, why would you not choose Bama? With that said, as a LSU FAN, I don't want to see him get hurt...but I hope Guice and others baptize him into the SEC next season. Hammer Down, and truck him!

Remember the kid that was committed to us he was a O lineman and was going to be a early enrollee but did he flipped to Bama at the last minute that messes us up some kind away with early enrollees
quote:

That's not binding, but expected. Didn't an o-lineman sign those with us recently to switch to Bama shortly after?
Matt Womack is the name. Decomitted during dead period, had FA papers with both LSU and Bama. Using the FA loophole LSU contacted him during the dead period to try to save commitment. However, there's a reverse loophole- if you contact during those periods, and he doesn't end up enrolling it is now a violation.

Hootie tried the same thing on Bama's behalf.

BUT... this is different I think, these are enrollment papers. Not the NCAA 'loophole' financial aid recruiting papers. All the 'loophole' papers promise is the school will indeed give a scholarship if player enrolls. Commits the school, not the player.

If these are the 'loophole' FA papers, be aware he might try to "Womack" us. Think no-contact period starts soon. To some peoples chagrin I was warning of this with Moses last Friday. I don't put it past them, by them I mean Jr, Sr, and Gumps.
