The kid seems like a really good athlete. I'm not sure what position we'd put him at, but he's 6-3 and 200 pounds and what he did to high school football this year was just plain stupid. He ran all over everybody until the state championship game when North DeSoto loaded up against the run and then he beat them throwing for 300 yards.

He might be your Russell Gage or Lloyd Cushenberry type guy you sign late.

He's No. 7

Wonder if he likes contact. He could easily get to a 6’3” 215-220 Safety

If you watch him run he sure looks like he doesn't mind hitting people.

I almost get a little bit of a Harold Perkins vibe with him. Or maybe even a Jabril Cox. I think he was a quarterback in high school too.

So far as I can see nobody big is recruiting this kid and I don't get it. EDIT: Virginia has, so that's something.

How’s his grades? If good, can’t see a reason he’s not sought after.

He’s gonna have to go to Grambling or Louisiana Tech ,and after a few years …transfer to a big time program …like Mekhi Gardner or Jabril Cox

I wonder how he compares to Kirkland? Both Lutcher QBs who were excellent in high school. Neither has a specific position penciled in for college.

Kirkland seemed to be a well respected Tiger. Not a star but contributed some. And of course played QB in the bowl last year.

Not sure if Kelly is looking for "athletes", but I would like to see another Lutcher guy on the team.

I mean, if Virginia is recruiting him, they're probably pretty decent.

He’s not slow. Dude ran for over 400 yds in the semis and regularly ran over, through and past multiple teams when opposing defenses were completely keyed in on him. He’s a heck of an athlete and is smart and tough. Not sure where he would best fit on the next level but he can play high D1 ball. I could almost see him like BJO possibly bulking up a bit and playing on the edge or possibly at safety depending on how he matures.

Shazz Preston is pretty fast and didn't catch Lunch last year when St. James faced Lutcher.

I’ve watched the kid play two games and he’s tough as they come.
He should get a look somewhere because he’s a football player, unfortunately sometimes “football players” that don’t check the boxes recruiters are looking for get overlooked.

If he can get to 220 pounds, he can play LB
And we need a few of them.
