We need to be all over these guys and letting them know we have stability here along with the ability to take care of them for years to come. Stay on them and keep the relationship growing.
These are LA guys committed to teams that are in the midst of coaching changes or declining right now.
I’ll assume we are doing this, but my goodness what an opportunity to drastically improve this class with in state guys.

Wardell is committed to Texas. Texas has a real shot at the playoffs.

Yes, but that’s not what I’m worried about. We need guys like this to improve our recruiting ranking so we can all be excited about the class ranking and feel so much better about the future!

We needed to land Mack. But all reports about McKinley are that he’s nothing special.

Mack was committed to Florida, then flipped to Texas. McKinley is committed to AM.

I’ll take Causey and Woodland over Mack and Gab Reliford over McKinley all day everyday. Some of y’all just haven’t watched these guys play football and that’s your problem.
We’ll be fine if we get a top notch DC, DL, DB and LB coach. I mean call the top 5 at each position, bring them in, have conversations with em, offer them top pay for their positions and then ask them if they ready to create history at LSU.
Ask each of them if they think they can bring in the Lombardi, Outland, Butkus, Badnarik and Thorpe award winners to LSU and hire that mother fricker who says “hell yeah coach”!
Then get to work on doing it and restore this defense to its once rich history of tough, fast, nasty, smart players across the defensive side of the ball and we’ll be exactly where we should be. At this point, I think we have it dialed in on the offensive side and this state and this region is too damn rich in defensive talent not to have a top 10 defense. So let’s go get this done so I can watch LSU kick some arse on the field.
