Does Texas Am keep the freshman class together now?

It sure hell does not help. If recruits are too dumb to not respect our staff's first year body of work then I probably do not want them anyway.
Jimbo is still a dead man walking unless they're THAT retarded to covet beating LSU, which I guess would not surprise me.

Will it hurt the recruitment of HS prospects? Probably not.
Will it be a lot harder to sell A&M players on transferring to LSU now? Probably.

You’ll get downvoted to hell but I would say most likely. We were rumored to steal Moss and Matthews from A&M. Does that happen now? Who knows.

Texas A&M was the preseason 6th rank team. They still aren't bowl eligible as the season ends. These kids aren’t being developed to their potential, a lone win to LSU as their season closes, is likely not going to change the minds of 99% of these recruits. If they wanted to leave before, they will. LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, Texas, USC, Tennessee, and now Auburn will likely offer more enticing overall benefits for these kids.

LSU pulled a good freshman class and then did very well in the portal after a .500 season and having had a lame duck coach for half of it. Recruiting is not going to be an issue for this staff. That doesn’t mean they will get everyone, but they will get enough to compete for the national championships sooner rather than later. Losing sucks but this team still overachieved and the future looks bright.

What some people fail to realize is how bad a culture fit A$M and College Station is for most LA athletes. That place is weird as frick. That game didn’t change the fact that those kids have to live there all year.
If LSU is an option for them some will gladly come home.
