Or if you are Nick Saban you want CR to do it as publicly as possible to show holes in the fence. And it will make sure that LF, Willis, and Hootie know that you don't have to be scared to leave Louisiana.

Why didn't LSU recruit Sims much? Did they think C Rob would go with LSU either way? Looking back, it seems like not making Sims a priority will be one of the reasons Robinson decides to pick Bama.

Thankfully we are now about 45 minutes to an hour after from this public announcement.
