Did Whit Weeks get a star bump?

I thought he was a high 3 star. 247 now showing low 4 star:

On3 consensus still has him as 3* but on3 themselves he is a 4* as well.
Eta on3 consensus still has 247 old rankings factoring in so I bet he gets the 4* bump on on3 consensus once it gets updated.

The truth is that 247 is fair to us, but they cater to Bama. Until Bama stops winning NC's & getting players drafted in the 1st round...there's no point in calling it out though.

Yeah, to be clear, my post was sarcastic. The persecution complex on this board regarding 247 is absolutely embarrassing. There have been multiple multi-page meltdown threads whining about how unfair 247 is when it actually turned out that 247 hadn't changed a thing--guys' composite simply went down because they'd gotten dropped by rivals and/or On3 lmao.

Rumors are that Whit is better than his brother and after 2 games, I think his brother is a solid Lber so if this kid is better, I'm excited as hell.

It won't be much longer until Parker gets the 4star bump. The guys at 247 probably know it's just a matter of time as well.
Per 247...#413 is the cutoff for the last 4star, so Whit Weeks just made it at #406. Basically, a rating above 89.00 is a 4star.
-Kyle Parker is at #461 - 88.69 rating
-Jeremiah Hughes is at #549 - 87.94 rating
-Paul Mubenga is at #624 - 87.53 rating
-Ashton Stamps is at #863 - 86.47 rating
I'm pretty confident that Parker will get his 4th star, but I'm not really sure on the other 3 guys.
-Hughes' ranking is being held back by his lack of straight line speed. You can make up for this if you're good at jamming WR's at the line.
-Mubenga is bc he's only played 2 years of football. He's very raw.
-Not really sure on Stamps though. Maybe the coaches see something that the recruiting sites don't see...or maybe the recruiting sites haven't properly evaluated him yet.

-Bama is easily #1 with 299.20 points (21 Commits), but #2 - #7 are VERY close.
-#2 Texas with 286.53 points (22 Commits)
-#3 Georgia with 286.04 points (19 Commits)
-#4 Notre Dame with 285.57 points (23 Commits)
-#5 Oklahoma with 284.84 points (22 Commits)
-#6 Ohio State with 284.73 points (20 Commits)
-#7 LSU with 284.47 points (22 Commits)
-#8 Clemson is pretty far off with 268.62 points (20 Commits)
I doubt we catch Bama, Georgia, or Ohio State. We can easily end up #4 with a solid finish to this class imo.
