They had him committed and at a camp and dropped him after

ETA: for more context, I believe Miller was hurt at the LSU camp

Yes they did. He did poorly at our camp and we pulled his offer

And then he was unstoppable his senior year. Best high school receiver I ever saw in person. Was a one man show against Neville and there was no one on the field that was in his league. Myself and a few others on here kept banging the drums to go get this guy, and from a good source, he would have taken the LSU offer.

It’s not like we’re hurting at receiver

USC is a media darling and have Caleb Williams but their defense is still not championship caliber. Omarion had his offer pulled is my understanding after poor camp performances. Expect to see more La kids make plays for other teams and it doesn't matter who is running the program. We can't get everyone and neither can any other team

His senior year should have erased all doubt and it was only 1 camp. We just missed on him. It happens, but I would never downplay a true freshman with 200 yards receiving in a game because it was against USC.

Miller is a talented receiver but not better than Sampson, Parker or Brown.

Not like he had a ton of offers, though. He just might be one of those kids that performs better on gameday than at practice or camps.

Listed offers from Colorado, Nebraska, LSU, Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, ULM, Miami, Mississippi State, West Virginia, and South Carolina.

We are? Because any time LSU throws to a receiver that won’t be here next year they shite the bed

Hilton dropped touchdown
Lacy dropped everything
Sampson 2 dropped TDs
I don’t know what the frick Aaron Anderson is good at

I mean this is kind of tough to say considering Miller now has tape against USC. And Sampson and Brown only have tape against some white high school safety who joined a frat at UGA.

I watched him play for 3 years, know his mom and a little about his story.
I really wanted to see this kid at LSU as any local fan would, but more for what I saw him do on a weekly basis. Watching that Colorado USC game, his game is just so smooth. LSU has some players but man I feel that he would’ve risen to the top.

Unless Miller can play CB he can't help us right now. We've got a ton of talent at WR on this roster.

He’s not a 1 year player. We will need some game changers next year without Malik and Thomas. We have no one proven coming back. They may be good but there is usually a development period. That’s why having a guy that can put up 200 in one half in his first real playing time might be reassuring.

Who is the wide receiver that has a dad tweeting “why not me?” After the fsu game?

fans will hold onto recruiting rankings until the guy is out of eligibility and proves he can or cant play

the whole time saying "stars dont matter" lol.

but if its their guy, they will go totally blind on it.

Miller was the best WR in the state last year and a top 5 prospect in state
