Maybe he was taking shots at the other Florida schools?

Our dbs literally look like high school players out there this year.

I don’t have a professional eye, and it was still quite obvious the shortcomings we have been teaching DB technique. Especially with the ball in the air.

Steeples lack of skins on the wall continues to be used against LSU. Evans Saadi something similar when he flipped

Steeples has got to go
Go look at the DB coach he committed to.

Yeah because Deion Sanders sure is pumping out elite DBs to the NFL draft

Looks like he did take a shot at the coaches.

Only people on this board would be so insecure about a normal statement.

Here’s what I got from that statement. Why not just stay home when we have a playoff contender right here.

That’s exactly why LSU needs coaches who can communicate a clear and precise message to these kids. Any elite recruiter would be able to clearly articulate why LSU is better. There are tons of reasons and we have recent history to prove it.

He said those things because a coach at Florida State got that same message to him and it stuck. That’s what we need. Take their eyes off of the current defense and make them see what our defense typically looks like at LSU when the pieces are in place. He’s one of those pieces.

Bro what? “I want to stay home at a top tier program” somehow equals “LSU is trash and Steeples is the nasty stuff at the bottom of the trash can”?

While the last part of my statement is true, I don’t know how you took his post as a shot at LSU.

You have to be looking to be insulted. Like a fat woman at work getting mad because someone says “you look like you’ve lost weight.”

Stupid take. Deion has coach 1 season at this level of CFB... but I get it, you probably have your own personal opinion about him.

...and btw, I guarantee Travis Hunter will go within the 2 rounds next year at CB.

Nooo... thats what you took from it because you unadmittedly agree. Its ok to admit that we have a terrible defensive staff from top to bottom.

Who would want to play for this defense? Bad scheme bad coaching. No development.

FSU is about to get decimated at the end of the year. Norvell did well assembling this team but after this year the only reason he may not be 6-6 next year is because the ACC is so bad. But the kid gets to stay home and he’ll probably get a chance to start next year.

Which is why Corey Raymond needs to be brought back as well as Chevis Jackson. Let Jackson coach the safeties and Raymond the corners but you get 2 LSU guys who can recruit and know the area.

Why do we care what Bates has to say about our coaches even if true? Isn't the narrative that he was processed? I seem to remember that web being spun to us. How can we be negative recruited to a kid we don't even want? Somebody, somewhere may be spewing bullshite. Question is who
