Did Billy Embody come out and admit he was wrong?

It’s over with now but he was very matter of fact with his comments over the weekend and could have really hurt LSU with players deciding to go pro, transfer portal, etc with complete speculation. I like Billy from his time here but that was uncalled for and I’m hoping the egg on his face will keep it from happening again.

Saying that sumaral to unc was a done deal and the corresponding move of Blake baker to Tulane was a done deal.
I get why people take up for Shea but Billy is a SMU grad from Dallas who covers SMU and OM.
Billy deserves no loyalty and was actively taking up for their national guys who were shitting on LSU last year too.

He did the double whammy. Said that it was a "done deal" that the Tulane HC was taking the UNC job after the Army game and that it was "done" that Baker would be the new Tulane HC.
