both AU and Bama saw him at their camps and had no interest in a complete stud though?
He said he actually got good feedback from the bama coaches.
Bama already has two DE committed and got 3 last year. They may not be taking more.

Im in the middle on this one.....6'2 265....his size reminds me of Josh Downs.....could this be our DT of the class?
That's what I'm thinking. It always seemed like Haley was looking for a quicker, smaller DT. Hence not the interest in the kid from Arky, and more interest in guys like Ash from Fla and Marsh.

he had got some pub a couple months ago from the Tenn camp, it's not like he just fell out of the sky like this guy did.

I think we did that with Mingo last year.
Mingo was a 4 star that went to the All American Game. HUGE difference.

Also, I trust our coaches. I trust their evaluations, and if they think this kid should have a free ride to LSU, than I'm all for it. At least they don't have a fricking projector running in the recruiting room of rivals and base recruiting on that like Miami..

by the end of the year, this kid could be a 4 star. It's not like the AA game is tomorrow.

I don't think this guy sticks to his commitment. If AU or UA offer, he is gone.
This is absurd--anyone that deserves an LSU offer at this point in the game would AT LEAST be known by the recruiting services. They have over 5000 prospects from each class.
I expect for LSU to get a commitment from someone I haven't heard of before in just about every class--but when NO ONE has heard of him them consider me shocked.

He did finish 6th in the shot put at the Greensboro Invitational:

Only lost by 8 feet.
He could always hoist the girls up on the sidelines. Versatility is always a plus.

cue Bad Cat saying "You immature college geeks, don't you know Les is great at finding the hidden gems where no one else can? Gotta love 'em

He could have 120 tackles and not be a 4 star by the end of the year. Look at what they did to Ford last year. Once someone is as low as this kid is, the sites are extremely reluctant to shoot them up the boards. They don't like to admit they were wrong.

how many "hidden gems" has les really found? honest question
it's the same as the OL recruiting mastery i always hear about
