Why would we get rid of a freak athlete who can wind up at olb or de depending on how he fills out, when Langlois is lowest rated kid, at a position you just got #1/2 safety in country? If we get Davis i mean.... why take 4 safeties in 1 class, when we need to reshape our front 7 to match the 4-3 better?
And next year's 2 kids at safety also look like studs.

Langlois is in. He’s going to be a better player than people realize. If we need room, I’m sure the staff has guys in mind they will tell to look elsewhere. A guy or 2 may just decommit on their own. I know the top priority is finishing with a strong OL and DL haul.

I love the length and weight of our lb haul. I want everyone. 25 man limit is fricking bullshite during a year you will lose an entire recurring class, then add opt outs / people leaving transfer portal and what about guys you want that are getting disciplined bc they break the law or team rules that they signed up for. And your not allowed to sign more than 25 lmfao wtf

Again, what am I missing? I liked the kids film, but why would we take a guy we beat out k st for over a guy we beat out clemson for. Is it where they project ss vs fs and a niche fit with Raymond/busch?

I'm pretty local to Khari Gee and you hardly ever hear anything about him. I'm not trying to rag on him but if we have to boot a safety out to make room it's not going to be Langlois who we just took a commitment from and has really looked great on the field this year which is what earned him his offer.

Gotcha. Well hopefully Davis puts us in a numbers bind, better to be in that because of a talent like that, then scrambling to fill the 25

It's also somehow possible we keep all 4 if Davis jumps on board, just depends on who else leaves the class because inevitably we always have like 2-3 guys who leave when push comes to shove.
Right now though, we have spots saved for 5 more guys not named Davis - Foreman, Smith, Leigh, Thomas Jr., 1 more OL outside of Leigh. Now I think we may not even get 1 or 2 of those guys, but they arent not going to take any of those 5, plus Davis...and technically we are down to last 4 spots before Davis even commits.

I don't know how anyone could watch our safety play this year and not think it would be a good idea to load up on safeties. Give me all 4. Sage gonna play nickle anyways. Give me the two next year as well.

At this point it's a bit frustrating. He's been totally MIA since that first game just about.
What was the point in taking an immediate transfer if you wont even play him? Almost worse than them trying to fit Giles in somewhere.
Man, transfers under O have either been gigantic hits or huge busts seems like. Maybe Terrence Alexander one of the few middle ground guys there

Dude is going to be so good
We don't have that one player that can cover the speedsters consistently enough, take on tweener TEs/WRs, and support the run. The guy that has to be accounted for on every play and makes the QB worry every play too.

- There's the D. Lewis of the transfers, and a dude named Burrow
- There's the Traore transferrs where makes sense, but doesn't work out.
- Most of the transfers out haven't done much either. Campbell, etc.
- Then there's the Alexanders, Giles, and Evans. Those were busts.

Who’s the freak athlete he suggested could be processed? Langlois has a faster verified 100m than Chris Hilton, he’s one of the biggest “freak” athletes in this class. You just assume differently because he’s white.

Pure speculation on my part, but I see Landon Jackson being a DT recruit; Hundley and Carter to be the first to be looking around if it should come to that.
