NIL has killed college football

This is starting to get extremely frustrating.
That's two straight years missing out on the number one DB in Louisiana
LSU is 44th in recruiting. Bama is now getting high profile recruits with Tony mitchell. Ohio State and Texas are dominating. They're in the lead for Jordan Matthews. It's time for this staff to get to work.

Louisiana recruiting doesn't look too pretty at the moment, really can't spin it
1. Arch Manning - Texas
2. Shelton Sampson - undecided
3. Derek Williams - Texas
4. Eli Holstein - Alabama
5. Jaiden Ausberry - def not LSU
6. Zalance Heard - undecided
7. Tackett Curtis - Midwest prob
8. Omarion Miller - likely Neb
9. Kylie Jackson - undecided
10. Jordan Matthews - Texas lean

Now do all the out of state kids we're in on!
One year, where relationships were already established, shouldn't make you freak.
This weekend will be good to LSU.

In a vacuum, no. But when you take everything into account, it's not the end of the world.
Manning is the most overrated prospect of all time, Holstein wasn't coming here with Howard, Miller is not as highly ranked by our staff. If Matthews was high on Kelly's board, we'd probably be in a better spot there. That just doesn't appear to be the case.
You likely get Sampson, Heard, Jackson. Possibly Ausberry.

These ‘upset over a June commit’ comments are possibly so dumb.
Nobody knows if these kids are grabbing their spots while there’s money to be had while Possibly signing some kind of contract to lock it in despite an injury.

I can't remember a year tougher to grab the attention of the in state kid than this one.

I mean there's certainly a trend here? Why troll?
it's not one recruit. It's the entire top 15 recruits in Louisiana being taken one-by-one. I guess if you're okay getting only 2-3 out of the top ten LA recruits year after year, then that's cool.
Honestly, open question, at what point do you start to be concerned? I don't really see any momentum on the recruiting trail. Dante Moore fell through to Oregon. Brown is now trending Miami. Darron Reed (albeit it was homer pick) was CB'd to Ohio State.

Yep, it’s a two way street that most refuse to look at!

You cannot do this.

Possibly Ausberry.
Ausberry is trending ND. His brother went out of state. one of two top-100 LB's to go elsewhere (if you include Tackett)
The staff needs to step it up. If you really think that's an overreaction, then please stop trolling.

Ausberrys father doesn’t want him at LSU. Can’t blame the staff if they never had a chance. Same for Manning and Holstein, hell even Tackett. They were never coming or behind in the race from the get go thanks to the previous staff.

Saying that LSU needs to step it up in recruiting isn't an overreaction, considering the type of classes were used to having and the usually reliable in state areas that feed into LSU.
It's not unreasonable to think that we should be doing better.

Get used to LSU and fans being happy with a top 25 recruiting class. Not going to be able to compete with the big money teams and the gap is going to keep getting wider.

Honestly, though, any commitments trending LSU's way right now?
