You better be right. My hopes have been steadily rising for the past couple of days.

good to hear. Still, I know how these visits tend to go while here and they're all caught up in the moment and loving everything. I've seen the whole "wink wink I'm coming just don't tell anyone" stuff one too many times. I'm not doubting your source at all, these guys can just tend to bullshite a lot.

We'll see how things go when they have a chance to cool down and get the FSU coaches back in his ear. If only NSD were this wednesday

From all he has told me, it isn't FSU coaches we have to worry about, it's Dad and his loyalty to the Noles.

The real visit this weekend was for his pops. Know what I mean.

yeah i'm not thinking we have a shot at edwards until his name is signed to the LOI

and i don't mean this in any negative way towards our coaches. there is far too much association with FSU to get excited

I hope his dad realizes LSU is the powerhouse this decade not FSU.

Exactly. FSU had a nice run in the 90s, but those days are long gone and Bobby is almost dead.

yeah. I already have massive amounts of respect for Haley as a coach and recruiter.....but if he makes this pull I'd be floored.

From what I heard, the parents were really impressed with les after the in home when miles went to Texas.

Then brick brought the heat this weekend in BR.

I don't really care about that.........I hope his dad realizes he was a 6th round pick @ FSU.....With LSU next to his name, his position he currently plays(DL), and our reputation we've built over the last 11 years at that position in the NFL, that he would think this is the best place for him.

I know FSU has an NFL pedigree, but we are the new DL machine for NFL prospects.

You know Brick said DLU about 20 times, and showed him the wall of success to prove it.

Can we send Brick in for a in-home next week?

How many phone calls are the coaches allowed?

We need to continue this full court press.

Why not cement his OWN legacy at LSU?

FSU is still putting DL-pass rushers in the NFL, too

LSU has a recent advantage, but it's not like FSU has no history

At LSU he wins championships.

At FSU he competes for the divisional crown.

IMO, this is the deciding factor.

Does Mario want to do his own thing or does Mario want to be like dad?

No matter how much sense it makes or how well LSU recruits him, if he simply wants to follow in dads footsteps its all for nothing.
