from then on, its on the player though.

I agree, the rep of high picks and sending multiple guys to the NFL is solid.

Has Les had his in-home visit with mario edwards yet?

Jimbo already did, IIRC..so that would be kind of a big deal.

yea i like that too jake

i got pretty excited when we saw a 3 man line of monty and mingo at DE, lavar edwards at DT with a DB or something coming too

thats a 2007 giants pass rushing DL right there, kinda

i really hope edwards can break out next year

he's been kind of lost in the DE rotation as kind of a jumbo guy. it would be awesome if he can get to 300+ and be the next brockers

i dont think edwards can hold that weight well. remember, brockers was pretty skinny out of HS, he had a ton of room to grow

i think he can settle nicely in the 3rd DE spot and a pass rushing DT

our DL is still going to be sick.....but man had Brockers returned it would have been borderline unfair.

Assistants can visit once per week during a contact period, head coaches are only allowed one.

i'm holding out hope that we can work downs into a limited role. i haven't given up on him

logan/johnson/ego at DT (with maybe edwards and downs in specific roles/formations)

montgomery/mingo/rasco at DE

imagine if we actually get good LB play (esp OLB) behind that and on the blitz. for how great our D was this year, it was really 2 of the 3 positional groupings. imagine if we can get solid/good play out of the 3rd

I'd say Mario has more explosion than most his size.

I'm pretty sure Edwards weighed 291 at the UA game.

I don't think we'll land Edwards. If he was blown away, I think he'd talk it over with his dad and then commit. Next few days will be telling. If it is quiet, I think he sticks with FSU.
