Might be semantics, but doesn't Carter sort of already have an offer? Within that context, I would assume that for Carter and Riley, if there's a chance to take them in the 2013 class (meaning you missed on Willis, Nkemdiche, etc.) LSU will do it so there is room in the 2014 class for everybody they want.

Before "loading up" on TE's means anything in Baton Rouge we need to throw to the TE on occasion.

The last few spots dont really matter in the numbers game with being able to count players back anyway. It would just be a matter of when they get to campus and when they are on schollie.

For instance, four guys from this class are gonna count towards last years numbers. If theres room and Carter/Riley come in with the 2013 class, great...but next year theres gonna be a handful of 2014 recruits coming in the spring counting towards this years 2013 numbers anyway.

Basically, if we sign a player this year, thats one less we can sign next year. If we leave a spot open now, it can be used next year. Not a huge difference in the numbers game

Hopefully he'll keep with the Patterson tradition as of late and head to LSU.

Doubt he signs there. They don't even know what a TE is.

Damn. Does anyone know if he was 'swayed' to de-commit from Arky? I assume if he did it on his own, he wasn't welcomed back? Seems odd if Arky was still open that he would chose them. Just shows how fluid recruiting really is...

Best of luck to the kid

Since the knew staff took over at arky no one contacted him one time, just blew him off completely, so he was pretty upset and decommitted. He took his official to Houston this weekend and committed This morning. His old high school teammate Trevon Stewart helped sway him to go to Houston. Here is what Stewart tweeted earlier.
