If they prove he knew she was 14, he is DONE! Done! Done! A family member of mine specializes in sex crimes (attorney). And many times, even though the girl and/or her family would like to not pursue it, once in the DA's hands, he has complete control over pursuing it or not.....and most times there is little doubt he will, evidence withstanding.
edit: it does say "at A home" and she was an "unruly" child...runaway? Possibly lied about age? Bond at only $5000! Now I'm wondering, gonna call the attorney on this one.

This guy sounds like a guy who needs Angola. Because Lord knows, that five year gap, and it being consensual, and her being a "wild-child", and our own life experience, can not be used to evaluate this. We must RUIN his life because as well all know, and are told every day, Rape is rape, and she is a mere innocent child. Legal Formalism requires 30 years.And of course when we were 19, something like this could NEVER have happened to us

I did only skim the article, but the stud senior football player had some sort if sex with a freshman. Neither is a good situation, but they definitely seem similar on the surface.
