Watched his 2025 highlights and he is A LOT like Chambliss. He's an elite scrambler who's like a slot WR in the open field. He can break huge runs and make guys miss consistently. He has an edge when he plays as well.

His arm is better than Chambliss.

You won't find anyone more like Chambliss and I can't imagine anyone fits what Lane wants to do better.

I agree. Demond is Taylor made for what Lane looks for.

He's what you envision Pop Houston will be.

He’s more like D’Eriq King. Probably a little better passer

Alright this has gone too far. Demond Williams is very talented and I would be happy if he’s LSU’s QB in 2026 but he is not as good a passer as Chambliss.

Chambliss lit up EVERY SEC team he played. Even the game ole Miss lost he put up 300 yards and his team scored 35 points. Williams put up 6 points against OSU, 7 against Michigan, and 14 against Oregon. Didn’t break 14 points in any of them.

He still has to develop as a passer but I definitely like him as a prospect. He just ain’t as good as Trinidad rn.

If we get him to LSU, I'll probably put down $100 on him winning the heisman at whatever odds I can find on DK or Danduel.

You mix this guy's running and passing ability with Kiffin and LSU's potential, this could be a second Jayden Daniels run but with a real running game and Blake Baker's defense.

Demond Williams is not coming to LSU. This is a attempt to get Leavitt to sign with somebody else other then LSU.

Agreed makes zero sense. Miami probably started this shite to make Leavett revaluate everything. Not hard to txt a reporter and create absolute chaos nowdays. Agents included.

Brother just wait if Lane does get Williams and see what he looks like at LSU under Kiffin and Weiss. You will probably start saying Chambliss who??

I think so. He's already a better runner and may have a stronger arm. A lot of the throws he had to make at Washington were higher degrees of difficulty than Kiffin prefers. His system will elevate him quickly

Reminds me of Russell Wilson in college with his build but maybe just a little bit more elusive.

I see. So it was Miami who put Williams's name in the portal and it was Miami who penned Williams's good-bye-and-thank-you note to Washington and it was Miami who made Washington threaten legal action against Williams. Got it.
