Would also jump LSU over ND in the current class rankings.

I think this is part of the problem. Also, Austin is pretty underrated. He's high end blue chip talent just like Ricks.

Haven’t heard anything else about him honestly.

I think when he decommitted LSU thought they would land this one.

He recommitted shortly after the LSU smoke. Seems to me like he got more money out of it than anything.

Bummer... but if money is the major driving decision factor, then he's not a culture fit anyway.

LSU is recruiting other CBs really hard. If we can shop he can shop.

Did LSU make a commitment to him that he would be the only cornerback we take. Besides, you can only commit to one school (at a time) but we need more that one cornerback.

He's expected to decommit soon and flip to the Ducks

That sucks. Very fluid corner.

Have you seen the facilities at Oregon? I honestly would think most kids fall in love with the football facilities there. State of the art, better than a lot of NFL facilities. Very updated and full of tech upgrades.

That’s great, but I guess I just figured a DEFENSIVE player would prefer to go to a conference where the actually COACH FOR DEFENSE. Maybe I’m wrong.

You're joking, right?
Have you seen the facilities at LSU? You're saying an athlete would choose Oregon based on that differential?

That's about like a new finance grad choosing a job at the Umpqua Bank of Oregon over Goldman Sachs because the Umpqua breakroom is nicer.

Weird this is all happening right now. Imagine December will get interesting for LSU. Crunch time is coming

It is what it is, when has Oregon produced secondary talent for the next level? Hell I look at Thibbs and imagine if he went to an LSU, Alabama, Georgia, etc. How much more prepared he’d be for the next level and more productive overall in his college career. Lanning has the Ducks at 9-2 but the defense is ranked 81st in the nation. House will have this as a top ten defense on an annual basis. Be interesting to see how this plays out but if they go, they go. Best of luck to the gents. That’s just my .02 cents however.
