This article sheds some light on some of the guys we are trying to flip. They don’t seem confident about keeping many of them with the Jimbo rumors swirling.

Commits of interest:

quote:

Gabriel Reliford?, LSU and USC are pushing him. We know the situation with Dealyn Evans. Jordan Lockhart? hasn't visited anywhere else

quote:

It's impossible to predict what will happen. I think Terry Bussey? is going to come back this weekend. He is committed, so that shouldn't be breaking news, but because of where things are at, getting Terry back on campus would be an enormous event for the final push.

quote:

Dominick McKinley? has not taken any visits, but his phone has been blowing up

and they definitely seem worried in general.

Since the No. 1 recruiting class, you have been catching arrows from every direction. Now, other schools have more quantitative evidence to back their recruiting pitches. They are ramping up. It should not suprise anybody

We think they are in a good spot with Dealyn Evans?. Guys will take visits. They could hate them. People also may think they need to look around. It's incredibly fluid. Day to day and week to week. It's been the most difficult class to predict.

Tyanthony has been sold on his commitment. Everyone thought he would waiver when Weston Davis? and Drelon decommitted. Tyanthony made his own decision. He really likes D.J. Durkin. He likes the idea of playing next to Taurean York. I have heard nothing but good things in terms of where he is at with his commitment.

Didn't see ivy mentioned in ops link. Tyanthony Smith could be interesting if we somehow got Durkin to replace House. Probably wishful thinking though.

Durkin has been absolute trash. Aggies wanted him fired last year. Do not want

Like House, he cashed in after having one good SEC season. He’s better than House, but that’s not saying much.

This is the same thing that will happen to Florida next season too. Incredible class this year, but they are losing, and they will keep losing next season on one of the hardest schedules I've ever seen a team take on. People will be pouncing on that recruiting class that got there and they will find it very hard to keep top 2025 kids committed as rumors swirl that Billy will be getting canned himself probably.

Looks like Florida might lose Jamanta waller and another kid too.

I shouldn’t feel this way, but I don’t find it reassuring that the only real recruits our staff is capable of getting is due to rumors of a regime change at A&M.

This staff needs to prove that they can recruit consistently before I go all in.

Maybe I’m missing something but don’t we have a pretty good class currently?
