I know Corey has been an inaugural part of our recruiting over the years. I noticed though for 2021 he is only ranked as the 112 recruiter in the country with the only two commits linked to him being Ryan and McGhee.

Is there is a reason for the massive drop off from seasons past?

Also on a side note can we get a o line coach for once that actually fricking can recruit o lineman. Like holy shite. At this point this is the only thing imo that is preventing us from competing with Bama year in and year out. O has already killed it on the d line the last couple of years. Now we just need the o line to catch up.

In years past, Corey has been an excellent recruiter and has been able reel in multiple guys. This year, not so much. Just curious as to the big drop off.

It could be as simple as since he is recruiting coordinator now he isn’t the main recruiter for as many recruits but has his hands in a little of all the recruits.

Also, he normally was our Florida recruiter and we just didn't hit that state that hard this year

And he is looking really good at 127 years old, I must say.

Yep. I hated how people got on Stud and Grimes when both recruited well. During Grimes's time, we had road grating OLs that paved the way for Fournette, Guice, and Williams for four years. Just because we couldn't brute force our way around Bama's NFL front 7 because of Miles's scheme, people acted like the OL wasn't good.

with Corey i just think that with him being the recruiting coordinator this pass year for the first time it was different and more responsibility unlike the other years. I think they are good at DB and S and have some good once coming in.
