Concerning Sopsher

I know for a fact that 5 days ago, LSU received information from Sopsher that he was coming to LSU. I know people are mad at voltiger, but I can assure you that all indications were that he was coming to LSU. Basically the kid played us.

even if this is true, it happens every year and it works every year.
it's not Sopsher's fault or Saban's fault at this point.
it's LSU's. Saban has been using the same recruiting tactics on us every year and they work and we don't change anything.

I think he legit changed his mind a bunch of times and his voice cracking today wasn’t just nerves, he was still unsure. Should’ve stayed home...

IMO Sophser would have had little to no immediate impact on the 2019 team apart from Depth. Truth is, our biggest recruits were lawrence and Fehoko. Add in the remainder of the returning line + Ika, and your line depth next season is solid.
We added incredibly important plug & Play positions of real need. Emery, and Stingley are day 1 starters. Marcel Brooks will play a ton as well.
This class accomplished a hell of a lot for this 2019 team to compete for a championship!

This is Saban's oldest trick and it keeps working. Keep LSU in it until the very end so they won't turn to others and then screw them on signing day!

It wasn’t just Orgeron, and the coaching staff did everything they could. Up until 5 days ago it was a 50/50 with bama and LSU. Then on Friday all indications were that he was coming to LSU. Then today the kid pulls the rug out on LSU.
