As much as the media creams over Colorado? Absolutely. They are rocketing up the rankings after being historically bad for years. No hole to climb out of.

There is a very simple workflow to this. 1. Is this an elite recruit? Yes. 2. Is Brian Kelly LSU’s coach? Yes. Then we will not get this recruit

you think an 8-4 Colorado will be pre season top 5 for 2024 after all those teams finish out this year?

Underwood has moved his trip to CU from the USC game to this weekend's game against Colorado State.

Honest question. Do you think Colorado has the NIL money to get him?

If he just wants the upfront bag, no. If he wants to build a brand and make a lot of money in college, yes. Shedeur is making $4.1mm this year.

Shedeur is Dion's son and that his brand name. what brand did he have before this year? How else could he be making $4 mil after only 2 games?

Colorado is the brand (thanks to deion). And everyone wants a piece right now. That's not going away anytime soon. They will be a top 5 team next year.

Lmao. How much do you want to bet that Colorado won’t be a top 5 team next year. Sanders currently has a recruiting class ranked in the 60’s and will be losing both Travis hunter and his son to the nfl. Some of y’all are so fricking stupid

I'm stupid? You don't even know basic facts. They are both back next year. They lose basically no one.

You are correct. They will not have a Top 5 class for sure. Coach Prime stated he will only take 20% of his roster from HS. His focus is more on transfer portal with players with college experience.

Also Travis Huner and his son will not be going anywhere. Travis still has to play 1 more year in college and his son no need to rush in heavy QB class when he can wait and possible be no.1 pick of 2025 NFL draft.

Ole Miss does it also focus more on portal over HS kids. It makes alot of sense and don't have to worry about them trasferring again.

Hunter is a sophomore and you're kidding yourself if you think they won't get a high level replacement from the portal if Shedeur leaves.

Shedeur isn't going anywhere. This is the family business. He is staying for Hunter's last year and to try to get his dad a championship. He will still be the number one pick the next year.

If a high level replacement exists. Sam Hartman isn’t in the portal every year.

This preseason top 5 talk is silly. There’s still a real chance Colorado finishes with 5-6 wins.

I remember when Saban would only be at bama for 3 years.

The biggest mistake made by any LSU AD was Skip Bertman not taking Saban back after he asked to come back. Skip said they were sticking with Les Miles.
