Now having said that, in all likelihood 1's and 2's would be 5 star but it's not automatic.

front page of 247 refers to him as a 5* but I dont really care what they have this kid ranked, he is the real deal

To answer the question directly, the recruiting services slowly release 5*s throughout the season. If you look right now, there are probably less than 20 for 2024. There will be 30 or so by the middle of next year but not yet.
The top 5 or so QBs are often 5*s. Will be interesting to see where he settles in as he is now 'competing' against the 24 kids not his class.
Hurley was the top OSU QB target for 2025. This is a pretty good get and I wonder where he fits into the top 24 QBs

LSU is literally on the verge of landing the 25’ top 2-3 QB and he is likely going to reclassify to 2024, which could have been something or perhaps nothing regarding Sayin…people are downvoting because there’s a lack of knowledge and negativity when it doesn’t warrant it.”

Come with the spiteful negativity and lack of knowledge and get embarrassed. Don’t need trolls on this board. LSU is looking at the potential for an all time class come next season led by Colin x2 (Hurley x Simmons).

I don’t want to turn this into a Sayin discussion but I’m curious, could Hurley reclassifying for 24’ have anything to do with Sayin’s recruitment here? Dude was all LSU even two weeks ago, maybe Hurley was the true prized gem for LSU’s 24’ class and Sayin saw the writing on the wall? Just speculation on my end but I’m curious
