Thanks for the link. Yeah, another great inconsistency about those "great' recruiting services. When he was a 2025 class prospect, he was I believe a 5*. He reclassified to 2024 and magically he turned into a low 4*. UTTER NONSENSE! Especially since everyone tells me ratings have NOTHING to do with college potential but only PRO potential.

So pumped about Hurley! Amazing talent and story, so glad he’s a Tiger!

lol those were some sick arse throws for a 16 year old. Absolutely filthy. And he has a 4.0 gpa, which is equally as impressive. We are lucky that he wants to be a Tiger. And he’ll have no shortage of WR talent here.

He needs to work on his footwork.

Those were two nice plays but were plays at least 500 high school QBs can make. What matters isn't the highlight but whether you can consistently replicate the highlight.
I personally think it was stupid of him to reclass. Then again, there is no better QB developer than Joe Sloan. He can work with Colin for two years before he should have to play. Maybe he will develop by then.

This guy is going to be really good. So glad he's coming to Death Valley.

How dare a kid have his sight on college football and study so damn hard he can not only reclassify but early enroll. The audacity. How stupid. But then again I doubt your opinion matters much to him.

If Underwood does sign with LSU, either he or Hurley will eventually transfer. You can’t have two bulls in the china shop.

This is correct. The bias is 100% real.

Nor yours. Nevertheless, as someone who isn't 12 years old in his mom's basement, I can tell you that rushing through life and not enjoying high school and putting yourself in a position where you aren't read physically to compete is a stupid, stupid decision and something the adults in his life should have prevented.
That's why I said what I "personally" think. I at least recognized that there are countervailing arguments. But I think this is a disaster waiting to happen. Especially if we sign Underwood in his true class.

What happened to the clown that said we were cutting ties with Hurley a few months ago?

There is no evidence that he is "not enjoying" high school. I skipped a grade and graduated high school early (1 semester) but I still enjoyed high school but I enjoyed College a lot more.
He is going to be a collegiate athlete and the sooner you can get into the system with good college coaches the better your development will be. Not to mention pros prefer younger cats. If he was a lineman or linebacker it would be a little different of a story due to the physicality of the position. But QB is more of a mental challenge he would be sitting at a minimum of a year before seeing any meaningful playing time so good for him in reclassifying.
