I disagree. Give the kid a chance and opportunity before you just write him off. Smh

I like seeing posts with inside scoop, but sometimes we need to let these guys have their moment

I just hope we can find a way to not hurt too many feelings. I was on the other end of this when Vegas Vince resigned and English came in and took junior college talent instead. I only had two weeks to settle on a small school offer.

P.S. I was never a Tulane fan but I knew a degree would carry a lot of clout!

Nah because in RB draft world, their values are decreasing and a 5th Rd draft grade can very well mean you are going undrafted once draft day rolls around. On top of that, RBs drafted that late to begin with are generally treated like UDFAs.

In 2019, sure going undrafted is more fruitful that what it once was, but it’s a bad look for an early entrant. The money is light & making a roster is easier, but it’s still an uphill battle. You can’t tell me CEH isn’t enjoying his time at LSU.

I think what people are hearing is he’s leaning towards going, that would be his choice in a perfect world. I don’t think that means he is 100%. Too much info to process. Decisions aren’t made like that

Yes and that's exactly what the guy said
If everything stays the same and he doesn't get injured he is leaving.

Any chance the second RB would be Achane?

That can’t be exactly what he said cause that’s not at all what I am saying. It’s like you didn’t even read what I just wrote

I think he’ll go and get drafted in the 3rd or 4th round

He’s earned himself some money this year and it’s not a pre-requisite to be six foot and over 200 pounds at RB anymore

Could be but sounds like we view him as a WR right now

I would just caveat that with 2 things. RBs have a short shelf life so the more money you can make before your body breaks down, the better. That may make since to stay and improve your grade, but he will have possibly 2 #1 RBs behind him so his stock could actually fall as they gain touches.

The better play may be to get out, play out the rookie contract which is capped and make the big money on the 2nd contract when you still have tread on the tires. JMHO

Just watched Burch's video for the first time and I'm blown away!

That dude is a monster at every position. Shoot, I bet we could even sell him on opportunities in a wildcat formation.

Yep. We could really use Burch. I think LSU is right in the thick of it.

And thanks for trying to get the thread back on topic.

Clyde talk took us off the rails a bit.

Finley is now a 3 star on 247 composite. I know this is off topic from the thread but I don't want to make a separate thread for this.

Can you imaging Webb and Burch at bookends.

Probably not but I love Achane’s highlights. That kid will be special wherever he lands.
